Evanescence (self-titled) Album Discussion

Yeah, i know it's too soon to start a discussion about but i've always wanted to start this thread.

Let's speculate: I think the album will be heavy and catchy, with no lazy songs like Like You, or the ballads. I guess the whole album will be the best, and better than Fallen and TOD.

How was "Like You" a lazy song? LOL.. I think it took Amy alot of courage to put out such a intimate song like that and put it on an album to share with us. Don't get me wrong I LOVE the hardcore Evanescence songs but I'm also hoping for some nice ballads. We already know we have a couple on the third album (Lost In Paradise & Secret Door) not too sure about "My Heart Is Broken" though, unless that one is about her sister lol

I can't wait for the album reviews to start pouring in so that we can start imagining what the songs sound like. I like hearing the stories behind how they came about, and what not. There's just so much I'm looking forward to.

I hope it's true that the album is fresh and new and different. I really don't want to hear another Fallen or TOD because quite honestly, I don't listen to them as much (now) as I thought I would (in the past).

A good album should have a balance of hard songs and beautiful ballads.
I feel Amy will give us both.

Exactly! Besides, in my opinion It wouldn't be an Evanescence album without the ballads.

what ever happened to "Your Love"? it doesn't seem like it's going to be in the album.

I think one of the Mexican fans asked her about that song in some video I watched and she said we will get to hear it but just not now, so I don't think it will be on the third album.
