Evanescence to be used in the New Moon Soundtrack

Oh no! I know this is just a rumor, a suggested playlist and all but I hope this doesn't happen. I am so tired of watching YouTube videos of Ev and everyone claiming certain songs for certain parts of Twilight. People are obsessed with linking the two together, not to mention just Twilight. I am just now slowly (AND PAINFULLY) reading the series. I am on Book 3. I have to say, it is such a mixed bag. Twilight was ok. It was atleast a page turner even if the main love story is a bit disturbing. New Moon was a horror and Eclipse has turned disturbing when one of the werewolf boys (a teenager in his upper teens) likes (or feels a connection with) a 2 year old baby! I have to say I actually liked the movie better than the book only because it wasn't quite as cheesy (and I didn't even like the movie). Anyway, normally I would applaud for anyone I like being used on a soundtrack, but I hope this doesn't happen. If it does, well, I hope Amy would write a new song for it at the least. Then we'd have some new music.

Twilight is an epic fail. Evanescence, even with all the stuff that happened to them shouldn't have it's name soiled or mixed with the likes of Twilight. I'm sorry to offend but Twilight is probably the worst thing to happen to vampires since ever.

Yes, I have read the books, and I don't think Evanescence actually suits it, let alone my immortal.

Even In Death possibly? Although they'd never put that in there, because it wasn't a hit.

Definitely more suitable. It's like they took My Immortal as the musical influence but reformatted it to the book's situation. Parts of the song are a little trite, but overall I like it. And hey, it's a pop song, it's supposed to have an element of triteness.

I think New Moon is going to turn out almost as bad as Twilight. There shouldn't be a lot of Rob Pattinson thankfully (Jesus that kid can't act), and the new director is phenomenal, but they kept the same script person, who is lame as. Too bad, New Moon is my favorite in the series (lulz downer).

I'm all for Ev being on the soundtrack, though I think Good Enough should've been on the first one as well.

I think Even in Death would suit the fourth book the best.
