That is correct. The first 5 weeks are open competition. The participants in the last week (week 6) will be only the winners from the first 5 weeks. We'll probably have all 5 sing the same song for week 6.

I have a question. If we can play an instrument, like say... Piano or guitar... Can we use that with our recordings by playing over the existing track to make it sound more unique?

I'm wicked excited...I wanted to try and start another one, but I am just so busy all the time. thanks for getting another one started.so when does it officially begin, when we get the name of each song and such? Thanks,

Erm, week 1 voting has already begun. But you can enter next week's contest as soon as Dhamma opens it up. He will post 5 song suggestions, but you don't have to do them.

Voting ends Monday morning. When the poll closes, the winner will be announced and the tracks for that week will be posted.

So in short -- Monday morning.
