I've just posted my piece... I couldn't find the title any better than the title of the topic!

Hey Svetlana-S.V.D. I thought it was coool, the power it has, I really liked the lines.

And plain people are walking within a line
they may smile or else they can... cry!
I see my hands - outline in black pencil...
but in my chest I have a dot of red pulsating in center.
Does this world having no shadow left feel itself happy

I think it was really good.

I just posted my poem... I just wanted to say thankyou to floating_lily for providing us with such a unique theme/topic to write about! It was challenging but fun! Towards the end i'll leave my comments on everyones stuff!

Ooh, Felicity, I like yours - a lot. It has such a dark, story-telling feel to it, and I really enjoy that in poetry.

Okay, I guess I'll post mine now.

All I can think of is that short film, the church of acceptance, where he gets that red dot on a bit of paper at the end.

I have NO idea what to do for this.

I'm sure you'll find an idea Darko, I was actually a bit bamboozled to what I would write aswell, and I thought up the title.

I really really can't seem to think of how to base a short story around "a dot of red on white." I've thought of a couple of ways to include it [and why I should not include them]:

Set it in Japan. [I know nothing about Japan]
Blood on a bandage or plaster. [Don't really want to go the whole blood route]
A girls first period. [just... no/]
Rose petals on sheets [that'd have to be either a funeral or some sort of erotic story and I don't really want to write either.]

Oh dear.
