Anyone who wants to is free to participate.

By participating, you aren't obligated to do so each time a new theme comes around. I don't want this to be a type of membership; each person who is interested in this can come and go and come back again as they please. And, if you'd like to write something for each round, that's fine as well.

*IMPORTANT - Please post your actual submissions in this thread. To cut back on clutter, this thread is now ONLY for discussion of the group and comments on others' work.

Basic Guidelines

1. Every two weeks one person picks a theme. This theme can be narrow or broad, and can be virtually anything.

2. Those participating then have two weeks to write something in the form of either poetry, lyrics or prose. Feel free to have an open mind - it can consist of whatever your mind takes you to when you think about the theme.

3. At the end of each round, the person who chose the theme in the first place can then pick one of the participants to think of the next theme.

And so on...

Picking/Choosing Notes!

- If you decide you don't want any chance of being chosen to pick the next round's theme, then make a post in this thread that says so.

- If you chose the last theme and it's time to pick the next person to choose a theme, try to mix it up a little. If a certain person picked the last theme or even the one before the last one, try to choose someone different for the next one. That way it will get around to everyone getting a chance to make a choice.

- PLEASE, no one ask to pick the next topic. If this works out well, I'm sure that everyone will have a chance to have a turn.

I'll add more as I think of them (if I do).

Again, I encourage anyone who wants to participate to do so!

Okay, so I re-wrote the guidelines in the first post.

And I thought about it...and came up with the first theme.
