When I first heard this song, I thought, "That beginning scares the shit outta me, but it's kick-ass!" Then, I heard the rest of it and it brought me to tears; the power and emotion in her voice made me feel as though I'd really lost a loved one. One of my favorite romantic Evanescence songs and one of my favorites off Origin, too!

Even In Death is one of my favioute Evanescence songs I love the synthersizers in that song and I was suprised when they prefrommed it live from Rock AM Ring 2003 along with Zero http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=xyUVIScixnE

I'm a n00b when it comes to Origin, but days after I first heard those songs, I'm still kicking myself for not listening sooner. Is the intro of "Even in Death" sort of related to that of "Snow White Queen"? I know they are very different, but I just get reminded of SWQ everytime I hear that synth sound. I heard they play this live sometimes? Anyway, I like this song a lot.

Yeah the very beginning of Even In Death sounds similar to SWQ I noticed that too... but they're not completely the same... I don't think they're related in any other way though

Even in Death is one of my fave Ev songs. Lyrics and melody is so deep, sometimes it brings tears in my eyes.

Actually in "Snow White Queen" is some kind of organ or guitar with a lot of effects and a loop on it.

In "Even In Death" they're just effects made with a sound board.

Even In Death is so eerie that it's so beautiful(am I making any sense here?) hahaha.. i love the line 'they took you away from me but now I'm taking you home..' that's when I picture her walking with a spade to the graveyard..lol..

im not the hugest fan of even in death.... but i love the lines "the softly spoken you words you gave me" and "they dont know that you cant leave me, they dont hear you singing to me"
i think its that im not a fan of the concept but i there are some really beautiful phrasings of the lyrics that just conjure up this beautiful and almost magical love.
