I don't know if it was mentioned already or not, but if the culprit ISN'T a moderator, then you'd be able to view who's behind this infection just by checking the item history in vbPlaza. Furthermore, if it IS a mod, then they could very well just "infect" him/herself and play along. Tricky tricky bastards. Looks like the April Fools weren't just confined to the first week of April.

My, my, the EvBoard peeps are turning into quite the pranksters.
