Fallout 3

Ok, I have a serious problem here gang. I am addicted to this game and cannot drag myself away from it. I spent 10 hours playing it yesterday and on work nights I am getting in atleast 5 or so hours. Anyone else have it and where are you at in the game? I've got it for PS3 and I've run into a few bugs but in general the game runs smooth.

Here is the trailer for it if you haven't seen it yet.

I"ve finished it monthes ago, well main story of it. Was addicted to it then too. I think this game is really, really cool. While it differs from the original games a lot, as a stand-alone it's really awesome. I have a lot of sub-quests to finish, so still feel kinda excited. BTW know that a new add-on is coming?

I was expecting add ons for it, I check the PS-store periodically for them. I also have Oblivion but I am not going to start it till I finish Fallout. My problem is I keep doing the side quests and not following the main quest so I've logged a lot of hours into it. I am also avoiding any cheats or walkthroughs. Tonight I ran into my first Super Giant Mutant. Damn thing stood 5 stories tall and took about a half hour to take down because I didn't bring any big guns with me on my way to radio station. Such an awesome game!

I'd say you're lucky! My first encounter was with TWO of them at the same time, while I also had poor weapons. I was lucky too, as there was a river between us and a place to hide for me, so I took them down But I hated these things.

So, what do you think of it? I am a junkie!!!

I've finished the main quest but am working on all the side quests now. My character is at level 20 right now.

I have to tell you, I'm more than a little disappointed in Bethesda's choice to break with tradition and make this yet another FPS. I *LOVE* the original three games, I mean, Fallout Tactics became an absolute obsession for a little while. I really think something is lost by taking this game out of its traditional 3rd person isometric perspective. They could've done so much more with it instead of making it Oblivion with guns. One of the things I loved about Fallout was the turn-based old-school RPG flavor it had, absent of that, its just not Fallout.

Of course, I still have Wasteland on my hard drive, so maybe I'm just too much of a relic... lol

This game is amazing. I wasn't able to get into it when it first came out, but a few weeks ago I rented it and forced myself to play it as much as possible, lol. The main story is a bit lackluster and loses its flair (at least for me) after Dad dies. The graphics are great and the physics are just funny as hell but overall the game could be better. Maybe I'm just too much of a Fallout 1+2 purist but the story could have been alot better. Everything else is quite good, though; especially the voice acting.

Now all be need is an online co-op or something, lol.
