sorry but the lyrics that were originally posted are the correct ones it does say town, you can clearly hear a t sound and there is no t sound in hell

In the music section just click on anywhere but home and go to farther away lyrics, but the site tends to have mistakes in their lyrics which I find amusing

I listened to it again last night and yeah it does have a t sound in it,it doesn't sound like it has an h sound in it,it sounds like it's ''run away from this town''.

think about it... why would evanescence have written town in that phrase??? too me it sounds like hell, and hell makes more sense... im not trying to sound mean at all, but i dont want u guys to have to start a big debate over whether its hell or town... my oppinion is that the word town only has one specific meaning which is a small city or community, but hell can be anything such as a horrible place or horrible state of mind... so when u think of when amy, and ben, and david were writing this song, with their great writing skills, they wouldve probably used hell to get their feeling across, rather than town. -ryanO

Just because you think that it would be better as Hell doesn't mean it is. It is Written as Town not Hell.

I mean i don't want to start an argument about whether it's hell or town either and i'm not trying to,and i'm sure that hell would make more sense but listen to it,there is clearly a t sound in it,i mean i thought it said town the first time i heard the song,then i went to go look up the words and only afew of them said town and all the rest said hell.So that made me even more confused.So i know that it really doesn't matter which one it is just as long as you enjoy the song and all that stuff but i'm just saying what i think,because i just want to make sure that i'm saying the right words to these songs you know.Because i don't want to say the wrong thing and think it's something different than what it actually is.
