The only version of Farther Away recorded in 2004 was the live one for the dvd.

Well, Ana is correct about the 2004 live recording of the song, but the Fallen version was recorded while David was still in the band. David didn't leave until after Fallen was recorded.

In other words, the last version of Farther Away was recorded during the Fallen session in 2002.

du1387 is on a distinguished road
I hope someone can actually find the mythical 3rd studio recording, if it exists. It would prolly sound awesome

It goes like this. The first chorus has "Hell" in it, the second has "town," and then the third and forth have "Hell."

I run to you (Run away from this hell)
Call out your name (Giving up, giving in)
I see you there (Still you are farther away)
Farther away

I run to you (Run away from this town)
Call out your name (Giving up, giving in)
I see you there (Still you are farther away)
Farther away

I’m numb to you,
Numb and deaf and blind
You give me all but the reason why
I reach but I feel only air and night
Not you, not love, just nothing

I run to you
And run away from this hell
Call out your name
Giving up, giving in
I see you there
Still you are
Farther away

Don’t leave me here
By myself
I can't breathe

The lyrics aren't from Evanescence.com. only the "Fallen" songs are on there. and where did you get "I run to you" as the first line?

I liked the end with Ben playing the drums.

Wow... It's Amy. David doesn't sound like a woman when he sings.

No, the "Anywhere but Home" songs are there too. When you first click "Music" it goes to Fallen, but then there's an icon on the bottom, just left of the song menu, that says "Click here to see tracks from ANYWHERE BUT HOME".

Those vocals were modified too much, so you can't tell if it's a woman or a man who sings that part. I always thought it was David, but it could easily be Amy or anyone else as well.

Rose Garden has a spectacular aura aboutRose Garden has a spectacular aura about
David Hodges sings the background in the piano and guitar versions. However on Anywhere but Home you can clearly hear Amy singing. I'm sure that the rare drum version would have Amy singing aswell, as Hodges had left the band. And when Amy sings she says "Run away from this hell." David says "town".

I can’t see how David can sound like a woman... even if the vocals are modified.

Sorry but you can't ask for files on this board.
