Sometimes incorrectly known as Further Away. Recorded as a demo in 2001-2002 and later made into a B-side on the Bring Me to Life single. Performed live regularly during the many legs of the Fallen tour, which has spanned a year and a half.

Question - is there more than one version of FA?
Because I have one that starts out with a solo piano...

I have that version too, it's also missing the line "try to forget you, but without you, I feel nothing," and has a slightly different vocal arrangement.

i've heard it too, it was on a myspace that someone made for evanescence and id listen to it all the time but they sadly deleted their acount

i think that was just a version they made when they first wrote it around 200 or 2001 just to get an idea of it, but probably remade it in a much fuller version in 2003! i think im getting the bring me to life single for Christmas! but idk,... at least i hope so

That's the more widely known one.

The one I'm talking about has a piano intro.

The one that begins with the Guitar is the Fallen B-side. As Far as I know there are three recorded versions.

The guitar Intro
The PIano Intro
The Drum Intro

The Drum intro is the hardest to find a studio recording of. I had it a while ago, but my computer had to be formatted and I lost it.

I looked up the words to Farther Away because i wanted to make sure what the background vocals were in the chorus and alot of them said ''Run away from this hell'' but when i listen to it,it sounds like she's saying''Run away from this town'' or she's saying ''Far away from this town'' but i can't really tell which one it is.So are those lyrics that i found wrong?And are these the exact lyrics?Just wanted to know.
