In response to Spiderfall I love Terry Pratchett too, the last one about the post office was very funny! I once met him at a book signing and I got really excited I was bouncing round like Tigger!
My other favourite authers are Laurell K Hamilton, Robin Hobb and her alter ego Megan Lindholm, Anne Rice, J K Rowling, Richard Layman and Sophie Kinsella (brilliant for Chic lit), My book cases are actually spilling out to piles on the floor now I think I need a tidy up! |

George Martin's Song of Ice and Fire series (starting with Game of Thrones) is some of the best fantasy I've ever read with some of the best characters.
Juliet Marillier's Sevenwaters trilogy is also right at the top for me. The books are very emotional and really make you feel close to the characters. Son Of The Shadows (book 2) actually put me in mind of My Immortal. I also really like alot of Robin Hobb's work. |

-Stephen King
-Christopher Pike -Alice Sebold -Cheryl Porter -Michael Crichton Just a few...I'm a big reader, but suprisingly, I can't remember half the authors I like... Well, maybe I'll remember later.
