OmG, I love that book! To have written that at such a young age amazes me. She's extremely talented. I knew I was missing an author.

I love her work. And My sweet Audrina and the Dawn series are awesome. I think my favorit is the Dollanganger series and not just because Flowers In The Attic became a movie. I don't know why but I just love it. Either way it makes my parents mad because I have so many books and no place to put them. VC Andrews, Anne Rice, Dean Koontz, Marion Zimmer Bradley, and Stephen Kind alone fill up 3 book cases. But I'm happy because now they want to give me a library. So then my manga can go onto shelves too.

My Sweet Audrina, and the Dawn series are my favorite books by V.C. Andrews... and my favorited books.

VC Andrews is great also! I like Flowers in the Attic, but the movie is shocking!

Btw, Cate Tiernan, who I mentioned earlier, wrote a series of books called Wicca, or in the US, it is Sweep. They are about a girl named Morgan, and she's a witch.

Has anyone read these books? They are very good.

So many books, so little time! Some of my favorites:

Tokien - Duh!
Neal Stephenson - Snow Crash
Stephen Donaldson - Chronicles of Thomas Covenant the Unbeliever
Ray Bradbury - Farenheight 451 (no it's not a Michael Moore movie!), Martian Chronicles, Something Wicked This Way Comes
Stephen King - Dark Tower Series
Steinbeck - East of Eden, Grapes of Wrath
Shakespeare - Pick one

There are more but that's a good start.

Whoever it was the asked - Joseph Heller wrote Catch-22 - a brilliant book.

My fave authors are:

John Marsden (Aussie author - wrote the 'Tomorrow' series)
J.R. Tolkein
Trudi Canavan (Aussie author - wrote 'The Black Magician' trilogy)

I like fantasy and sci-fi and also some war books.

John Marsdon came to my school. I think he went to all the schools back then, don't know why.

I like that book but it really just depends on you. Assuming your friend knows the style and type of book you like to read I'm sure you'd find it enjoyable.

LOL, well, he said I would like Interview With The Vampire, and I was bored to tears with it, so I hope this one is better!
I have read one Stephen King book...can't remember what it was though, but I know it was about these people that packed up in the night and hit the road for some reason or other...

I have an idea of which one you're talking about... but i'm not sure. He has written alot and I have read a good lot of his work. I think my favorites are Carrie and Firestarter. i don't know... but it's worth a read through and if you don't like it then that's when you take the book and hit your friend over the head with it. LOL no I kid.
