Stephen King (especially his Dark Tower series) is by far my favorite. I also love David Clement-Davies, Meredith Ann Pierce, Brian Jacques, and a ton of others that I can't remember.

^ I read a book by Dean Koontz once...was it Lightening? I can't remember, but it was about time travel - a guy comes from the 1940's during the war, to present day, this chick is married to some guy who sends her frogs and they have a son called Chris, anyway Stefan, the guys name is, the time travel guy, he keeps going back in time because these bad guys also time travel, and are trying to change the past to change the future, and make it so Hitler won the war, and they have to try and stop it.
Awesome book, I loved it, especially at the end, with all the time travel when the lady and Chris are being chased by the bad guys, and Stefan has to go back and forth in time to save them...
