Favorite author?

Hey guys. I searched but did not find anything so here goes.
Who is your favorite author/authors and what types of books do you enjoy reading? I basically read books from a bunch of different authors (mostly horror writers though) I guess I don't have a lot of time for reading but when I do Stephen King and Richard Laymon are my first choices.~Silvermist~

YES! OMFG!
I LOVE Chronicle of a Death Foretold. And One-Hundred Years of Solitude.

Simply brilliant.

Also Pablo Neruda is a favorite. I have so many...
