Final Fantasy takes wayyyyyy too long. I could never get into it. My roommate from last year used to play it about 5 hours a day and I have no idea how or why he did. Not only that, he'd play all of the PS2 FF games over and over. It boggled my mind. Yes. Boggled it.
The best video game music though came from an old Sega Genesis game called comix zone. If anyone remembers this game, you know I'm right! |

Im playing FFX rite now and it frickin kicks ASS! Im kinda near the begining, Im on the S.S.Liki boat (?) to Luca for some blitzball tournament.
So far I like all the songs. the rock song in the begining rocked my socks off! and that song of prayer thing where yuna (she is hott...) always comes out all drunk.Anyway im gonna go back to playing the game. i love that scene with yuna and the underwater funeral where she starts dancing on the water. SO AROUSING! lol... Peace! (....\................/....) .\....\............../..../ . .\....\........../...../ .. .\..../´¯.I.¯`\..../ ... /... I....I....(¯ `\ .. I......I....I....\.... \ .. Liberi Fatali? Oooh that one is awesome. I also love Eyes on Me. And also Otherworld, from the intro sequence in FFX. Oh, and I loved one of the boss themes in FFVII, it rocked. And One Winged Angel <3

OMFG.
How could I forget Halo? The music in Halo is so kickass, I used to play certain levels over and over just to listen to the music. I love that game. I'm usually not big on the whole FPS concept, but this game is just perfect. like. whoa. |

the music in halo IS AWESOME i agree!
in the silent cartographer, when youre underground and things start going to shit, on the way back up you know? the music, if you listen, has this totally SWEET guitar solo going through it .. its cool, we can only have 1 channel of audio plugged in b'c we're too cheap to buy a y adapter so you get a unique type of music depending on whether you plug the red or white in.. but.. yeah. its awesome. |

I know! I was shocked at the guitar playing in it. It was like, damn. That's probably why I would always have to go play guitar after I played Halo. Insipration. Nothing like good guitar instrumentals too inspire you. The drumming is pretty wicked in Halo too. Very tribal. It's just one of the best game soundtracks I've heard. I hope Halo 2 sticks with the same music director. ![]() |
