Favourite Video Game music - Page 13 - EvBoard

I do hate missing out on things. I think when I go back to school I'll pick one up with my excess funds and pick up some rpg's. Chrono Cross for sure now. Any others I should consider? Besides the obvious FFX.

Oh yeah, and the music to Mario Brothers is classis.

Definitely Xenogears. But, if you have a regular PlayStation already, you can play Xenogears and Chrono Cross on it because those are both PSX games. I liked Dark Cloud (for PS2), but I didn't like the looks of the second one. The graphics look too cartoony...but, who knows, it could be a really good story.

Alundra and Wild Arms are also two of my favorite RPGs for PSX.

Oh, and I forgot to mention, but I really really like the music from the Dragon Ball Z games on SNES.

The Silent Hill soundtracks OWN ALL (apart from Zelda)

Theme of Laura (opening song from SH2) is the best, followed by Silent Hill (opening song from SH1), followed by I Want Love (studio mix) (from SH3).

I love the music from Silent Hill Series and Twisted Metal: Black, but my all time favourite piece of game music was the opening sequence music from Final Fantasy VIII. I <33333 that piece of music. Edea's theme from the same game is amazing too. Edea kicks ass!

The first Xenogears ruled, especially Creid soundtrack. As for Xenosaga, I didn't find it nearly as good, and then there is the second Xenosaga, which isn't even the same person making the music..

I haven't played Alundra much yet, but I used to be in love with Wild Arms, and Morning Journey is a pretty sweet song.

Star Ocean and The Dig soundtracks are way underrated, in my opinion. I don't know if any of you have actually played or remember the game Dig, but if you did, you'd understand what I am talking about. The composer is Michael Land, and it is probably some of the best videogame music I have ever listened too.. I'm just saying.

I haven't even touched Xenosaga. Mostly because I didn't realize it was a sequal to Xenogears. I thought it was at first, but looked on the back and decided it had nothing to do with Xenogears and was just a rip-off. :rolleyes: Anyway, I'll take your word for it, and continue to ignore it. :)

It is only for PC and it is fairly old. Let's just say it barely worked for window95...

Just download the music, and you'll see what I am talking about. Or search Michael Land. :-)

Ok...I've played Wild Arms 2, and that was pretty cool. I never got to finish it though, because my brother erased my memory card...ass...I was at the final dungeon on FFVII too. He did that twice. So I never let him play FF, tomb Raider, or any of my X-box games. He was sorry.

Is Alundra the game with a crazy amount of characters that you can have join your party. Like 32 or something? That looked good. I have also heard good things about Xenogears. I'll go look into that. Thanks!

Oh, and I have played Dark Cloud once, and that was cool as hell.
