I never have finished Final Fantasy Tactics....but I did get ahold of the sountrack. It's absolutely great stuff.

I dont know, or think I've mentioned the soundtrack to Klonoa: Door to Phantomile. Absolutely awesome game and great music....though the ending was very much a downer. The second one looked a whole lot prettier and while very good, didnt quite out do the original.

I also cant forget the music from Gunvalkyrie. The game is insane. I love the music from the Naglfar's Pit level....has a very creepy lullaby thing going on.

And, I say this everytime...Xenogears Rules!!!

I have Sonic the Hedgehog song as my cell phone ringer, and Mario as my text/voice mail alert. Everyone's gotta love the Mario and the 'Hog.

Dunno if anyone's heard of it, but I just finished the game Beyond Good and Evil the other day on XBOX and that had some pretty damn good music. It was very cinematic and they did a good job at making it follow the story. For example if a character dies you'll hear very melancholy music, etc.

I'm really looking forward to the game Fable. It's supposed to have music in it by Danny Elfman. That just kicks ass

Hehe. I know :P I just read that the other day and that pretty much decided it for me that I need to get Fable. Unfortunately I don't think he's writing ALL the music for the game, but from what I read on Gamespot he's at least doing the theme, with a full orchestra of course =] I'm an Elfman junkie, so any new music by him is good enough for me

On a game!?!?

Wow..I need to clear space in my schedule right now. I love the elfman!!! I sooooo had the Edward Scissorhands soundtrack before I knew ev was inspired by him *is proud*

This game is gonna rock WAY too hard.

I mean...seriously. I love the Edward Scissorhands soundtrack. Almost as much as I love the movie. And then the music from that was practically incorporated into Big Fish.

I have the Edward Scissorhands Score, the Batman score, the Batman Returns Score, the Nightmare Before Christmas score and the Beetlejuice score. They all kickass. I am also actually listening to the Batman Returns score as I type, weird coincidence.

So Elfman is doing the theme for a game? Already this game is gonna rock.

Okay..so I have a question..does anyone remember the Sonic the Hedgehog cartoon? The theme song was so great hehe. I too forgot Beatrix's FF9 theme yay.

DarkCloud was a good game..but I still havent beat it..haha I dont have some sword that I need to kill the dude or something like that..

I figure it may be just the theme this time but I'm hoping it opens the door to more in the future. If he enjoys doing it, perhaps he'll score an entire game at some point

BTW in the article I read it said he got to hand pick the musicians for the orchestra, and that the theme will be in 5.1 surround. Nice =]
