Seriously, I don't know what Castlevania it's from, but considering they reuse every song from the ost before, I would it doesn't really matter. All I know is it's called Dracula X and it's remix 02. There are 2 other remixes as well, but I deleted them long ago, as they weren't as interesting to me.

People are forgetting Zelda music on this thread. Music from Zelda: Ocarina of Time (which happens to be my favourite game EVER - and I've played a lot of games) is my favourite. I've got mp3s of orchestrated versions from the Hyrule Symphony Orchestra soundtrack, and if anyone wants one, just add me to MSN and I'll send you some.

My favourite Zelda music is Hyrule field, from Ocarina of Time. I get fond memories of that game (which I've completed dozens of times and still don't get bored of it) whenever I listen to it.

Oh and GTA3 & VC music is pretty damn good too. Flashback FM was my favourite station from GTA3.

Mmmm there're too many songs to name ..... So I'll just name the games ^^;

-FF6 : all the musics represent a masterpiece. It's for me the best musics I ever heard in a vg.
-Castlevania IV : I loved all those musics, and even now, I still listen to them....
-Castlevania SOTN : like WOAH ! now that rocks, it's hard, punchy... Excellent Ahh The lost Prince \m/
-Chrono Cross .... like the whole game....
-Xenogear/Xenosaga : 2 very nice soundtrack (i love Xenogear Creid as well)
-FF7 : some musics were really nice imo (same with FF8)

The music in those games is GENIOUS! The scores really work with the game to bring out tention, fear and relief in the player... and then just when you thought it was safe, a nice big dollop of fear again!

I didn't mention this serie cuz I didn't really play them for long. But true is that there's a true atmosphere...like woah. I remember playing Nemesis, and each time the f***er was on the same screen at me and hearing his "STARS" ... freaked me out

I think it was FIFA 98 that had some good tracks, like "Song 2" by Blur. In fact, FIFA has had Robbie Williams and Blink 182 do tracks for them too, so they're not bad. I like the powerful orchestra stuff in MGS2, as well. They really know how to make a powerful game, too, and their music is pretty important to them, which is good!

Oh and let's not forget WipeOut 2097. I only had the demo, and the tracks were superb on that!
