The female video game character stereotyping is why i like Resident Evil and games like that.
I recently got a game: Tales of Symphonia, and the lead female character (not the hero, but shes the main FEMALE) must change into an angel and bring the world back to peace. She is a pretty tough girl- she uses razor rings for weapons. Another girl, the oldest, a school professor, is cool- she goes CRAZY over the weirdest stuff (she is obsessed with history). She is a healing girl. I tend to like cyborgs/robots or something. In a game Grandia 2, you save a robot's life and she thinks of you as a 'father'. She has to find out the hard way that she wasnt unique and ends up having to fight another model of her- its sorta sad and cool at the same time. Another character, Milennia- is a real princess. I mean a bitchy, gimme-what-i-want, temper tantrum princess. She gets what she wants and is sorta vain. Shes a cool character, though- shes logical, just hot headed. She has all these sorta vain lines, like if she hits an enemy with a crossbow "Oooh, this might sting a little". Shes funny to listen to.
