We've been through this so many times. So so many. Read the FAQ. This is not a filesharing community. I'm going to start banning people on the spot when I see them doing this. This can get evboard in a lot of trouble. If you want to share, keep it off the board, or make sure it's fan-created, fully non-copyrighted work, or something live. I'm not a lawyer, but if you're unsure of yourself, then I'd suggest you PM either Tracie or Cfw828 first and ask. They're probably the best equipped to tell you. I don't care who you are, but you damn well better think before you post about this, or you're gone.

What happens if I posted something and it said "Where can I download it?" what happens to me? I get banned? *freaking out*

If you do it publically, you'll first get reprimanded. Continuing to do so would get you banned.

If you're going to do it, do it privately and/or away from the board. Thank you.

The FAQnRules were recently amended with this clarification.

Likewise posting requests to any of the prohibited items is also prohibited, as is posting links to off site web pages or services that host the prohibited items.

That being said:
Links to music that is not available for purchase are allowed (streaming or direct download).
Links to streaming video clips are allowed.
Links to magazine/newspaper scans are allowed.

A little common sense goes a long way here too - if something is illegal (filesharing), then why would the board be a part of it?

Does this mean all the old pre-"Fallen" stuff that isn't under any copyright law, and that Amy and Ben gave permission to download, is also illegal to share those files on this board?
