Cyra will become famous soon enough
guess i'll have to stop by Sam's Club to get some more batteries then

and I guess this was a little exaggerated then oO

"Play up to 100 hours on two AA batteries"

anyways, gracias, that's what i was thinkin about gettin..even tho it's $30 and has no rumble feature.

in that case (about crystal chronicles), i'll have to have a few guys over sometime in the next few weeks then (providing i get the time during the DAY and not at night..i hope)...hopefully SOMEONE has a gamecube..i only know one guy with one - everyone else i know's got an xbox or ps2 or..sega genesis that he just bought recently oO

thanks for the notice...guess i'll get viewtiful joe first then. i really like how the crystal chronicles game looks cool and all...and i'm hoping the gameplay is better than ff8...leaning towards the new 007 game too...so many games oO (like...5 haha)

I would believe 40 to 60 hours of somewhat constant playing on a Wave Bird. I dunno though but it constantly "trickles" power out of the batteries when the WB isn't on and i haven't played constantly for a long time so yeah, i would believe 40 hours. I dunno about 100 hours, but maybe.

If you are a Mega Man fan, then you will enjoy a GC release sometime in May. It is going to be Mega Man 1-8 + 2 previously unreleased Rockman games from Japan. I can't wait for this, myself. And Metal Gear The Twin Snakes comes out next month sometime.

Yeah, I do like Mega Man.. used to play it a lot and watch friends play it...one guy I used to know had an emulator with tons of Mega Man games (the better looking ones) on it that we watched him play (since we all sucked at the games).

May huh? Sounds cool. I'll keep an eye out for that, thanks. I haven't played video games in a long time (aside from WWE Smackdown every now and then) and stopped keeping up to date with the game news and whatever until a few days ago (which is when I started looking up info for Crystal Chronicles, Animal Crossing, and Viewtiful Joe)...the Gamecube brings back memories of the Super NES, a broken NES, and N64s ha..

Square Enix U.S.A., Inc. announced today that they will present the first Final Fantasy symphony concert in the U.S. on Monday, May 10, 2004, at the prestigious Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles, Calif. The performance will feature music from Final Fantasy, performed by the acclaimed Los Angeles Philharmonic and the Los Angeles Master Chorale.

"I am overjoyed about the Final Fantasy concert to be held in Los Angeles," said series composer Nobuo Uematsu. "With this being the first Final Fantasy orchestral concert outside of Japan, it marks a very exciting moment in the history of the franchise. I am looking forward to seeing our fans at the concert in May."

"FINAL FANTASY's award-winning scores have captivated gamers worldwide and now we have an opportunity to share some of the series' most memorable melodies with our fans and concertgoers for the first time in the U.S.," said Jun Iwasaki, president and CEO, Square Enix U.S.A. "We are thrilled to bring this event to the Walt Disney Concert Hall, the new home of the Los Angeles Philharmonic. The audience will be able to experience the emotionally-moving and powerful scores that have made melodies of Final Fantasy the finest in games."

Uematsu will create the score for the two-hour concert. Featuring a full orchestra and a 32-person choir, this concert will mark the first of its kind in the U.S. A dedicated Web site featuring composer Uematsu, the "favorite Final Fantasy music" fan survey and concert information can be found at http://www.square-enix-usa.com/uematsu. Additional information about the concert including ticket sales, prices and on-sale dates will be announced at a later date.

The first Final Fantasy concert was held in Japan in February 2002, performed by the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra. Led by famed conductor Taizo Takemoto (New Japan Philharmonic), the sold-out concert was held at the Tokyo International Forum with over 5,000 guests. Building upon the success of the first concert, Square Enix recently announced a six-city, seven-show concert series titled "Tour de Japon -- music from Final Fantasy" which will be held this coming March and April in Japan.

Nobuo Uematsu was named as one of the "Innovators" in Time Magazine's "Time 100: The Next Wave -- Music" feature. Square Enix hopes to pioneer the appreciation and awareness of not only its musical creations, but also video game music throughout the industry. Currently available exclusively on America Online's Radio@ Network, the Final Fantasy radio station features 200 tracks from the top-selling Final Fantasy video games and is available for listeners on Radio@AOL, Radio@AOL for Broadband and Radio@Netscape under the "Soundtracks & More" category. This is the first ever radio station on the AOL Radio@ Network dedicated to a single video game franchise.
Oh good grief....to be able to go to E3 this year!!!

What? No, I'm not a fan . My favorite would.....eh....well.....oh damn, be 7 I guess. 8 blows it away in graphics, which automatically makes 8's story better too. I'm not much for the recent ones. But my favorite would most definately have to be III/VI.

- "Final Fantasy VII, better known to true Final Fantasy fans as just VII..."

I just read this today and smiled, thinking of how it never occured to me that walking up to a friend and simply saying "You know that part on VII...?", and having the friend immediately know exactly what you're talking about, might seem strange to some people...
