Yeah, you don't need ridiculously "HY00JZ0R" tits in order to cosplay as Lulu. Just hike the shirt up like this girl did:

I think she looks great!

8 was actually my least favorite...even though I went to A-Kon dressed as Rinoa one year heh...and I got chased by a photographer throughout the convention LOL!

I never really liked FF8 either it's hard to say why because there are so many reason. But I think one of the reasons has to do with the story.

I think FF8 has an incredible story.
I didn't really appreciate it at first.

...7, 10, 10-2. Seven is byfar my favorite RPG...and I like 9, but I didn't really like 8. I'm still playing it though because now that I know the story, I'm kind of hooked... ^.^

Initially, I think that FF8 wasn't that popular among the casual Final Fantasy fans because of the experience and stats system. From junctioning GF's and drawing quantity's of magic to boost your statistics, a lot of people were turned away by the complexity. I was at first.
I'm a huge Final Fantasy fan now and FF8 is my favorite game. The game system isn't difficult at all, it was just completely different than anything seen in a Final Fantasy to that date. I might be wrong but I think the story popularity of FF8 rivals that of FF7 now. FF7 will always be better because of Aeris and Sephiroth, and insanely in-depth storyline (imo).

Hear, hear! It seems that you get much more out of VIII as you get older. I went through the thing at 13, and replayed it a few months ago. Totally different game. I understood the story much more thoroughly and the junction system was no longer confusing, resulting in a much better game overall.

But VI still pwns.

long live Rinoa and Squall

I liked FF8 alot, but never finished it. I'd love to, but I forgot what I have to do next, its been so long since I played. I'm stuck in a desert somewhere.

If I had the time, I'd get the new one and play online, but my job would interfere with it, LOL

I did like the story for FF8, but the final boss just seemed more than a bit pointless to me. Also, the junctioning system, while easy to understand, just got a bit tedious to me.

I think, for me, the best of the PS1 bunch was FF9. It just had a type of...magic to me. Plus, Vivi rules all.
