I've come to the conclusion that, if given the opportunity, I would totally just live in my flip flops. Screw all this fancy shoe shit, im down with my 2 for $5 old navy flip flops no matter what I'm wearing. They can be casual or formal, depending on what ur wearin.
oh yeh, rocketdog makes a pretty good flip flop also, but those aren't as bendable as the old navy ones.

I don't like them at all. Especially not the summery ones that come in all the bright colors and stuff. Plus, they make the most annoying sound when you walk in them lol.

I'm one of those people who hates wearing socks and shoes. I hate it!!!! At anytime I can I kick off my shoes and socks and just pad around barefoot. When I do have to go out and it's warm, flip flops are always my first choice. I have some nice ones, but usually, I too just wear my 3,50 Old navy ones.

im more of a sneaker gal myself, but this summer i have worn flipflops more often than not - today included because ididnt feel like wearing heels and i was wearing a nice flowy skirt so sneakers were out of the question

i never went to old navy to get some but i will next summer

i have my brown ones from delia's - pretty comfy. and an old black pair with lil fake jewels on the thong part. ive had those for about 4 or 5 years but the jewels have started to fall off

i had another awesome black pair from payless but my mom borrowed them, got her fat foot groove in them, stretched the top out and totally ruined them for me

not cool

oh and theyre great for wearing around the house if you want/need something on your feet or if you need to go outside to throw out the trash - you can just slip 'em on nice and easy. no tying or forcing them on to deal with

I have old green flip-flops I bought at Target two years ago. I love them, but I like my Converse better.

you're buying the wrong kind, than. i can only wear ones that aren't stiff (hush u pervs), meaning that they can bend in the arch

and i always called them thongs too, until i got to highschool and I said, do you like my thongs? and my guys friends would look at me weird, and I'd have to be like, MY SHOES YOU SICKOS! and what does amy in broken have to do with flip flops??? I don't *think* she was wearing them in that vid, and even if she did, Amy has nothing to do with the awesomeness that is the flip flop thread.

please forgive my ridiculous sarcasm, i just drank the biggest frappacino ever and the sugar high is at an all time....high.

I love flip flops as long as I am not walking far - my fight get sore. I do love them though if I'm just running to the store real quick or for gas or something. But yeah, I love my flip flops.

Just as I read this thread, all I can hear is my mom walking around in her flip flops. Flip, flop, flip, flop, flip, flop. Haha.

But yeah, I pretty much love flip flops too. I'm crazy into these Croc shoes. I've wanted them for years, when I saw them at a garden center, and now suddenly everyone's got the latest crazy. MY shoes. >.<

I'm with Apryl 100% on this. Plus there's the fact that there's them flip flops that have that thingy that has to go between your big toe and the other toe. I HATE THAT!!! That and I can never keep flip flops on my feet. So, indeed. Flip Flops FTL!
