Revelation Theory posted this in a bulletin on MySpace. I thought it was pretty funny.

Quote:
Hey people! so we are sittin in a comfort inn parking lot in springfield virginia, nonpoint's bus is next to ours, we actually all went to the gym this morning and showered up, we r startin our tour with them tonight and are pretty excited! we just finished up an amazin 3 week stint with flyleaf and mercy fall, those guys were awesome, it was def a different gear than our last tour with hinder and faktion but it was really cool because we got focus on a coupl of important things, being sober and
playin music

The last coupl shows in PA and virginia were awesome, the show in Harrisburg was surprisingly fun, we walked in to this place and seemed like a spring break bar where a dave matthews cover band shoudve been playin! and to top it off we were goin on at 7pm! so we didnt know what to expect, but it was 4/20! In all its savin graces it was there for us lol! And so was the crowd they were unreal, as well the bar had the hottest bartenders in the biz the night ended up bein a feedin frenzy and it turned into a memorable show for sure!

The last show on tour was at the canal club in richmond, we were lookin forward to this show for a while because there was also a big radio festival and chili cookoff during the day and our friends in hinder and faktion were on the bill, so we had a chance to hang and watch them as well as shinedown and trapt, it's always great to see your friends on the road, its like seein your family again and there music def brought back great memories its also nice to just go and chill as a fan and see some
good music I am huge chili fan so we tried a bunch of different chili's, it was all good stuff, it was funny because i guess the singer of Lamb of God enters the competion every year and we saw him there which was cool, i actually texted in and voted and it turned out that i liked his the best haha! unfortunately aftr all the mixes of chili, a few of us had some battles with the gastrointestinal system! but we got through it and forged
ahead because we still had a show that night!

Aftr the festival we came back to a sold out canal club we were playin the aftr party and it was great up until show time, i dont know if you guys know but all the bands prank eachother at the end of tour.. We always knew that flyleaf were very nice, respectful, spiritual people, so we never expected them to be diabolical pranksters! first of all they saran wrapped mercy falls van n trailer all the way around and matty topped it off with some mashed potatoes and an apple pie!

Most bars and clubs in rock smell the same, mildew, old beer, and
cigarettes! as we took the stage, rich said that he was presently
surprised by a fresh smell, well that smell ended up bein baby powder that they put in daves cymbals! the first song there was powder all over, at first i thought they had a smoke machine then i almost slipped on it and quickly realized we were under attack! aftr that the "leafers" proceeded to throw 600, yes 600, bouncy balls at us, they were peggin em at us from all angles haha, it was crazy, D n Johnny Y were scramblin to pick em up and in the process D fell on his ass on the stage! it was mayhem, we had
to forge through though and buy the last song we bombarded with 20 cans of silly string! we were covered through all of undone it was crazy, like mayhem, so funny, those guys are diabolical i tell ya! plottin and plannin this to unleash it all on us was sooo funny comin from these uber nice people lol! After our set flyleaf crushed it and we watched one more special set from a special band, matt actually sang with lacey on So I Thought for the second night in a row, it really sounded amazing and I know meant a lot to him and all of us overall the energy in the room
was awesome, and the bands from the festival were all there so it was awesome to get to hang with and meet a bunch of people we respect!

You are probably wondering right now what we did to prank the 2 bands right? Well the answer is...Nothing! that's right we dropped the ball, we just couldn't come up with anything, pretty sad I know but we also learned that well never have a brain fart on the pranks again, we r scheming right now as we speak for nonpoint n buchcherry haha! just a side note the guys in hinder were HAMMAHD! we partied with those guys for 2 months and i have never seen them all this wasted i think blower started
the day off with vodka in his cereal haha, i am not kidding! And cody ended up huggin the waste basket!! It was just a treat to see all the crews and bands as we gave our hugs and said our goodbyes, I couldn't help but notice the awesome fraternity that we have been privilegded to experience and be a part of, it really is awesome!

We are pullin in to the venue tonight in Springfield, its warming up and I am pumped especially to head down to florida this weekend to play livestock in tampa! Anyways thanks for all the support guys it means a lot, this next 2 and a half months is gonna be awesome and I know that we r comin to a ton of cities!! See ya soon,

julien

i was flipping channels and mtv came on for a second and So Sick was playing above the end credits for that stupid ass show Yo Mamma. i heard the lyrics and recognized them but i had already changed the channel. i quickly turned it back to confirm that i wasn't imagining things. sure enough, there it was...on MTV...it's weird when that happens. it's like watching a baby grow to a person. you have this band that you follow for so long and than they start to get so much exposure...yeh imma shut up now.

It was probably because MTV was promoting their Discover and Download program...

It really is amazing...they went from just being signed less than 2 years ago to selling almost 150,000 copies of their self titled today.

I love being a fan of this band.

Yeah, the old Yahoo message board was the best, though... wait, no it wasn't.

I saw that too! My roommate watching an extremely unhealthy amount of MTV, but when I heard Flyleaf come on, it made jump out of my chair, haha.
