Thanks for the pictures Brittany. I like [what I can see of] Lacey's dress.

I think it's MTV2, but I could be wrong. Either way, I highly doubt that Lacey would wear an Evanescence Sucks t-shirt after having opened for them and Ben having promoted them (back when he was in Evanescence and they were Passerby).

Last night was amazing for the most part. When we pulled into the parking lot, I saw Lacey and James standing out by the bus. So I went into fangirl mode and jumped out of the car. I was so nervous that I barely said anything to either of them. Lacey's Mom and family were there. They were discussing dinner plans when I came up. Her Mom took the picture of Lacey and I. ![]() After that, we went to stand in line to get into The Loft. They let us in after about 30 minutes. When we got inside, I found a pretty good spot close to the stage. After the third band that nobody knew about (I can't remember their name, but I thought thye were awful) Boy Hits Car was up. They started playing and it was only my Stepbrother and I near the front. My Mom, Stepdad, and Uncle had all moved to the back. They started off acoustic then a minute later, the rest of the band starts rocking. As soon as that happened, a mosh pit broke out and I was launched about 4 feet to the left. Their lead singer also crowd surfed right over my head. After my Mom pulled me out, I watched their show from the corner. They were awesome live. They were all so full of energy the entire show. Although I missed one of their songs because the friend I was holding a ticket for called me and I had to run outside to hear her. She told me she wasn't going to make it until 11. 11 rolls around and Flyleaf's roadie is almost done soundchecking. I squatted down on my knees so I could hear and called Elizabeth and told her I thought Flyleaf was going to start any minute. She was still 10-15 minutes away. My butt started vibrating as soon as the announcer guy began to introduce Flyleaf. I ran back outside with Elizabeth's ticket. While I was out there, Flyleaf was walking into the building. As soon as they passed me, Elizabeth starts walking up. She had perfect timing. She and I walked into The Loft right before Flyleaf started with Red Sam. The setlist was (not in order): Red Sam Breathe Today Fully Alive (which Lacey explained the story behind) I'm Sorry Tina (which Lacey also explained the story behind. I knew it already and almost cried when she was explaining it) I'm So Sick Cassie Sorrow All Around Me So I Thought There For You Encore: Believe in Dreams Something I Can Never Have Flyleaf is so fucking good live. Even my Mom and Uncle were impressed. This time I saw them, I wasn't the only one singing along. At least for most of the songs. I don't think anyone else knew Tina, Believe in Dreams, or Something I Can Never Have. Actually, Elizabeth did know Something I Can Never Have. When we met up after their set, the first thing she said to me was "That Nine Inch Nails cover was awesome!" Everyone was in agreement that Pat is incredible and "how can someone so tiny, let out screams like that?!?" Pics are here. |

I've been a Flyleaf fan only for several weeks, but I hope it doesn't matter that much.
I'm gald they've decided to release "Fully Alive" as a new single. I do love this song. Oh, and new pics are amazing. Lacey's dress is gorgeous, it's my fave colour. lol |

.Great review. Great photographs. My favorite? The one with Lacey and the sweaty [or even better, wet] half-naked Pat. . |
