I'm one of the passerby junkies who saw them first with eva. ever since then I've been to almost everyshow at JJ, I haven't made it oto their engine room shows here, because of stupid work. and I'M GOING TO MISS THEM AT SUPER BASH grrrrr. Oh well, going to have to wait until my band plays with them next time they play JJ
Thanks Dave!!!Really the only thing good about JJ is that you are really close to the bands when they play, which , in the case of passerby, is good and bad. Good cuz it's an awesome show, bad, cuz if your not careful you can have a guitar in the face. And a lot of people know about it so it's a good plavce to get a following. but the ticket prices are waay too expensicve for my tastes. |

It WAS kind of short notice. What's your band's name? You probably could start a thread for them if you want. My band played at Java Jazz once and really impressed Dave but then we lost our bass player!!! He went over to play guitar in Four Star Union (formerly known as Fed by Ravens). Since then, we've been searching, and searching, and searching... *comes off of sidetrack* Oh well. Best of luck to Passerby Friday and Saturday! |

Meh.
We're not really that huge...yet. I mean we're with a production company that sdoes show around town, and do a few of our own. The Skooby Don'ts, ever hear of them. i think we're pretty notorious for our equipment failures. What's the name of your band, I frequet JJ a lot so I might have seen you at some point. |

i've been to shows in dallas, temple, peaster, austin, houston, rockwell... some other places to... but i can't think of them off my head. suffice to say i'm used to driving.
but then again, it's well worth the drive.nothing's better than converting clearchannel junkies into passerby fans. go forth and make listeners of all those who only suck down what they're spoon-fed on the radio. (not to dis-clearchannel too much. they at least can find 1 small hour a week for local music... albeit on sunday nights. bah) - aaron |

I saw them in Fort Worth on Friday and they rocked. They gave the crowd a lot of energy and were recepted well. First show back in a while and they are still solid. I met Lacey and Pat and they were extremely nice so that's really cool. A rockin band of nice people. I like it.

check out this yahoo group for passerby if you want to keep more informed about what's going on.
fyi, street team activities are being planned and will be announced here and on the yahoo group when we're done. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Passerby/ - aaron |
