I just saw these guys open up for Saliva and Earshot in Baton Rouge, and I had to pick my jaw up off the floor when their set was done. I went and bought 2 copies of their cd, got a poster, and proceeded to leave the building so I could find them. They were all really cool and I got them to sign my stuff while chatting. I got their only setlist signed by everyone too Evanescence is the only other band I've felt that way about when I first heard them. I hope they make it big. Sameer was really friendly, and Lacey seemed a little shy but very very nice and friendly. The other guys were pretty busy packing things up. Lacey seemed to have some stagefright at times, but the crowd was immensely supportive... moreso than I've ever seen for an unheard of opening band. They were cheering like the main act was walking out on stage. So yeah... my opinion needed to be heard on this

Haha, that's awesome man. I didn't know they played over there. Right now, I have a mixed feelings of support and envy for them since it seems that they're doing extremely well after getting signed and everything. Lacey does seem kinda shy at times but that's just her personality. It's a change from the loud, boisterous, cocky rock star type. Heh, it's a different story when she's singing though. Sameer is probably the band's most musically talented person playing an instrument. They have a pretty supportive fan base, too. I'd imagine a few people made the drive from Texas to that show; it wouldn't suprise me at all. Anyway, glad you liked them .

Wow.

That is a band! I need to see them live... Let's see. the closest they come to memphis is Starkville, MS on 10/15 and Batesville, AR (univ of AR) on 10/19.

Starkville's a tad closer... mmm and that's on a weekend, too.

I believe a certain member of a certain band suggested this band as one of the greatest he's seen other than the band they got their drummer and guitarist from, and that everyone should check them out. The day after a certain CD release

I refrained from saying any names seeing as how this is the first time I've been on and posting since he left, and I wasn't sure what the general concensis(sp?) was around here.

They truly do rock, and I've been great friends with them since that show. THey all rock at what they do, some of the greaest talent I've seen today in a band.

Especially since he said it on the O-board, not here...

Actually, I think I used to have that page saved, but that was before I had to reformat my hdd.
