Anyone here heard of/like the band Gretchen? They are awesome. It's a female fronted rock band. You guys should join their forum. You can get some free stuff by joining and helping them out. Hiya people !

I randomly found out about this band called Gretchen while searching around on purevolume. They are a 3 piece rock/alt band from tennesse (sp?) with a female vocalist/bassist.
I have been unable to find any music of thiers to download due to it all being copyrighted and protected, only way to be able to listen to their music is via the players on purevolume or their official site. However you can download some of thier songs and play them 3 times each before you have to pay for additional plays.
Their album is also really hard to find and i'm still currently searching for it !

This is a fairly old thread, but I did a search and this is what pulled up!

I ordered my Gretchen CD on Sunday I think! I really enjoy what I have heard of them, and can't wait to get the CD!

I like it... this band bring to my mind bands like Kittie, Whitin Temptation and the best.. Evanescence lol...

My fav song is Fading.

So far, that is my favorite also! But I have yet to listen to the whole CD......not to mention the fact that I just found out about "Mouth Full of Nails" (I think that's the title). I've found a list of their songs to listen to on the web, and I really enjoy what I hear!

Well I finally gave in from trying to find any of their music for free download, so I ordered myself *In The Mean Time* as an xmas present for myself - so my parents can pay the import charge hehehe

I checked out their purevolume account and I like what I'm hearing. Mia has a very powerful voice. I'll go with "Fading" as my favorite song out of the ones I have heard so far.
