You know it's bad when you lose sleep over a TV show. Heh. I really can't wait for the show tonight. I have a feeling Denny will die and Izzie will lose her job. And that will suck HARDCORE. And you know that Burke can't possibly die, but will he still be the number one surgeon after this? I still have about three hours to wait before I get to find out. I'm dying of anticipation. I don't want the season to be over, but I really want to know what's going to happen. And we're going to lose somebody. Who is it going to be?

Damn, that was a good episode. But I'm sad that the season is over. What am I going to do?

IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN THIS EPISODE DO NOT READ ANY FARTHER.

Okay, so I really liked this episode. Still all the drama, but at the same time, everything comes to a close. Well, almost. Except for at the very end. But we all know who Meredith will choose.

I wasn't surprised that Denny died. I figured he was going to, as Burke is one of the main characters, and most shows don't write off their main characters. I really felt for Izzie. The poor thing.

She and Denny were going to get married. Imagine - getting all dressed up and going upstairs to see your lover, only to your horror - he's dead. Alex was very good at comforting Iz, which I was very surprised, seeing as how he hates/was jealous of Denny. Now, Iz confesses to cutting the tube, and says that she quits. How's that going to work for next season? Kat Heigl isn't quitting the show, is she?

Meredith and McDreamy hooking up again. Now, THAT wasn't a surprise. I knew something like that was going to happen.

And, the poor dog. I was bawling my eyes out when Mere was.

Christina. I feel very connected to her, as we're very similar - very reserved to the point where we're almost cold. I can understand when she froze up in surgery and how she avoided Burke until the very end of the episode. She just didn't know what to do. She loves him so much and wanted to be there, but at the same time, she's scared of what could happen. And probably also feeling quite helpless.

Anyways, I enjoyed watching the season finale and cannot wait for next season!

My favorite couple has always been Izzy and Denny, no questions asked. They've been my fav couple of all TV shows.

Even as I am typing this I am crying my eyes out. I was so shocked when at the VERY end, Denny just...died. Poor Izzy was all excited, and she was going to MARRY Denny. I know it's just a show but I'm an emotional person. I'm gonna go to bed and see if I can stop crying.

I've waited long enough to post, and if you haven't yet seen the finale then don't bother reading this.

Below I have some opinions and recaps, and also a few random questions about next season. Feel free to post opinions to the questions, but don't feel obligated to answer them. I actually don't want answers, but I am curious as to other people's opinions about what my happen next season.

Denny/Izzy: I definitely thought we'd get to keep Denny.

I'm disappointed. And poor Izzy. She was so in love with Denny, and so ready to marry him. I can't believe he just DIED though. No warning or anything. It was like "Oh no, something's wrong!" and then BOOM he was dead. That's not fair.

No one was around, no one was able to try to revive him (that we could see), nothing. Just...boom. Gone. I'm quite upset. And then in addition to that we lost Izzy. That makes me wonder if she'll be leaving the show for good or what. I mean, she shares living space with Meredith and George. Is she going to move out and go elsewhere or will she stick around and just be a secondary character? Will she change her mind about working in the hospital? And if that is the case, will she even be allowed to go back to work there?

Burke/Christina: I figured they wouldn't kill Burke off. He's too important. But the whole thing with the paralysis of the arm and all...I wasn't expecting that. Then again, you had to figure something like that would happen because he is, after all, a surgeon. Though not only a surgeon, but the BEST surgeon. Now, WTF at Christina constantly running out on him! All the times she wanted to be near him and he pushed her away...here she had her chance, and he needed her, and she kept running off. Weak. I'm glad she finally went back to him in the end though. But what will happen to their relationship now? Also, will Burke still be able to call himself the best?

Derek/Meredith/Addison/Finn: I had a feeling Derek would go running back to Meredith. There was obviously still something between them. And now Meredith is stuck with this choice between Derek and Finn. Gee, I wonder who she'll choose. And then there's Addison's realization of what was/is going on between Derek and Meredith. I thought Meredith and Finn were cute together.

AND OMG I cried so hard when they put Doc down. Heh. Will we get to see Derek and Addison get divorced? How long will that little thing between Meredith and Derek last? Where the heck DID Meredith's panties go? And what's going to become of Finn?

Alex: The boy impressed me. I still think he's an asshole, but there were a few times he redeemed himself. Especially when Izzy was in crying over Denny. If Izzy stays, I wonder if there'll be any possibility of them getting back together. Don't get me wrong, I don't like him at all...but what will it take to keep Izzy on the cast?

George/Callie: I'm still trying to figure out if I like Callie or not. It's sweet that she's in love with George, but DAMN GIRL. Don't push the poor boy. I'm totally happy Meredith and George are talking again. That's always a good thing. Also, I think George had some of the BEST lines in these last few episodes. So will this thing with George and Callie get far? Or will she end up pushing him away?

Congrats to you if you made it through that. That's about as much as my brain (and fingers) can put out right now. I'm sure I'll be adding on to the post later...

I agree. Everyone would have been better off if Izzie had just accepted that the other guy was going to get the heart, and then continued to support Denny no matter what happened. Who knows, he might have lived if his body hadn't undergone all the stress of his heart crashing, not to mention the emotional stress of everything going on.

I do feel bad for Izzy, but she did act incredibly foolishly so I don't think she should be allowed to come back to the program even if she wants to. Poor Denny though, he finally got that heart and then to just up and die.. this also means that the heart he had that could have been used for the other guy is basically of no use now. Which might sound cold, but that other guy has a wife and kids, and I'm sure they had waited for a long time for a heart to come along as well.

Minor spoilers

Last night episode was sad yet so good. I was just a big ball of sadness on my couch once the show was over. I didn't even want to go to bed.

But there's something I just don't get. How was Burke in the parking lot? Didn't he take the copter to come back to check on Denny? I guess not :S

Just saw ABC's fall schedule, looks like Grey's moving to Thursday night at 9pm. It will be interesting to see how high the rating stays when against CSI.

I was wondering about that, too. I thought he took it back, and then he was in the parking lot. And then later, Alex went back in the helicopter. So how the hell did Burke get back?

im pissed they are moving it to thursdays. they are already beating csi in the ratings, or coming close if not. csi is on a decline now. i love it and loved it so much more in the past, but it's already jumped the shark... and it's on its way down. no reason to try and kill it faster. now ill have to tape one and watch the other rather than having my lovely sunday and thursday night television schedules -.-

if it aint broke, dont fix it. it's killing in the ratings on sunday nights, why change it?
why?!??!?! stupid tv execs.

I heard the gun shot on Sunday night and really wanted to watch part 2 of it yesterday but couldn't because I had fucking homework that took me forever! Arghhh...when I actually was interested in watching the show and I have an extreme amount of homework

I wish this show was available to watch ABC.com!! I thought it was and went to the site thinking it was but it wasn't

Now once I get caught up with everything since my mom watched it, I'll start watching it all the time so I don't miss a thing!

Wow...I thought the episodes for Grey's Anatomy were way behind here but apprently not! yay for that!

The show really grew on me cause my mum likes to watch it a lot and so I started watching it and really got into it, although I haven't seen all the episodes.

That show really grasps ahold of you. I like it a lot!
