Haven't they killed the Halloween movies enough yet? I mean, the first one was good from what I've heard but now they're up to 9!? It's like the Nightmare on Elm Street. First was good and then it started to go from there. And the Friday 13th movies....and even the Freddy v. Jason ones. Hopefully they'll do a good job on this one and break the spell of killing a good movie theme.

The thing I love about the Halloween Movies is that (up until H20 that is) all the movies were a very important part of the story. In each one you found out things you never knew before... like the daughter of Laurie Strode, Michael's curse of the thorn (number 6) (explaining why he kills, what drives him and when he kills, etc.)... Michael's drive is to kill off every member of his family, and it looks like there is still only one left that he needs to get, and that would be Jamie Lloyds baby, who is probably like 10 years old by now.
H20 and Halloween 8 pretty much strayed from the series. I love H20 how it tells a whole different aspect of the story, but Halloween Resurrection is pretty much pointless in my eyes. If they conclude the series with Halloween Nine with a movie concluding all the unanswered questions, while going back to the roots of the original creepy films, that would be great.

i totally agree, especially about Halloween Resurrection. it was pointless really. Although you do get to find out where Micheal has been living all these years but the rest of the plot is pretty pointless. it'd be good to round everything off in Halloween 9.
