Hey Amy and fellow Evanescence fans

The new single - Call me When you're Sober - is amazing on its own, but is also liked by most of Toronto and surrounding area. On a local radio station - Z 103.5 - the song was on a program called "Pump it or Dump it". It is pretty self explanitory, if you like it, you pump it, if you don't, you dump it. The new single got an 86% average of pumping it. Congrats

Ive just heard 'call me when you're sober' and I don't really know what to say..... The song is amazing!!!!!! Everything just works together beautifully in it. Oh yeah, and the video. The only way to describe it is 'Little red riding hood meets Wolverine from x-men, and then floats randomly into the air like a tacky japanese film'!!! Wow!!!! Can you get any better?!!!
And by the way, I would like to thank you and the rest of the band for actually making good music unlike most of the music in the charts at the moment. Bring back the eighties or nineties any day!!!!!

Amy, I never post here I usually just lurk- but I have to say some things to you.

I just saw the video and it is the BEST video you guys have ever done- it totally brings the vision of the song together. The editing is completely amazing- the rest of the band has some small parts on video yet a HUGE presence the entire time, and I've never seen that excuted so well before. I really love you guys as an entire band, and everyone looks so much more comfortable than before.

Honestly the song itself didn't spark much emotion in me until I saw the video-starting with the guitars and building up to the dancers I just got filled with so much excitement that by the time you start walking down the table like that I just started crying cause I was so amazed by how FABULOUS this is.

I can't thank you enough for sharing your art, I just hope I can find a babysitter the day you guys come to the northwest, lol.

"Call Me When You're Sober" is...awesome...just awesome...*continues listening to the clip over and over on Myspace* MAJOR props to you all for yet again...another great song. I'm SO excited for the album now...even more so than before!

I absolutely love "Call Me When You're Sober". It definetly shows the growth and versatility of the band both musically and lyrically since Fallen. Keep on Rockin' guys. I can't wait to here more. Counting down to Oct. 3rd!

amy..major props for the song and the video..both are amazing and you and the rest of the guys are just at the beginning of one of the most amazing comebacks in the modern era...best of luck with everything and we can't wait to see ya'll on tour again

heres to having a song...

1) I can push to both of the major clearchannel stations I can easily annoy (z100in NYC thanks to that lovely 800 request line, and kiss108 up here in boston) and have them NOT immediately brush me off.. OK, z100 needed a little more encouragement than I would have liked (but they had me cut one of those recorded request lines for it.. if they only knew..) . And Jackson (the 7-11 dj at kiss108 who knows its me as soon as i request shinedown's i dare you..) wasnt sure he liked the song when he first heard it (lets not forget that kiss108 has mecome more like its feloow big market CC stations.. and easily manipulated into overspinning crap from 'name' artists like janet jackson simply because of who they are), yet according to mediabases spincout at kiss 108, hes the one that plays it the most..

2) that is simple and cuts directly to the point (like a lot of the stuff off of what could be almost considered a modern classic now..Jagged little pill)

3) I can constantly annoy my family with (ok, i have a few of these that im constantly playing now.. CMWYS, Through Glass from StoneSour, Rooftops from Lostprohets, the afformentioned I dare you from Shinedown, and I'm looking to add Disturbed's version of Genesis's Land of Confusion

October 3rd is so far away... so much time to annoy dj's with.. i'll have 1/2 the MD's on the east coast hating me by the time the CD comes out
