I can't wait for the new album to come out!

Hope that you all have grown as artists while making this album, and that y'all will continue to put your all of your creativity in your music.
I don't mind change, I even embrace it! As long as people put their heart and soul into their music, it can't fail.

I know this is probably supposed to be in the "My Stuff" or Talt to ev" section, however, I just finished a recording of my own of CMWYS. It took a few days but it's done. HERE IS THE LINK. Hey Amy, how ya like it? not the origial haha. anyway, hope you guys like it.

"Call me when You're Sober" has debuted at #25 on the Canadian Much Music Countdown. Thats better then most videos do because some new vids don't get on the MM Charts until at least a few weeks in. Congrats

Yeah when I first saw the video I was freaking out. There have been so many rumors of when the new album was going to come out but now with a new single that is actually out there.....I am really excited about the ablum. Now all I basicly do is surf the music channels looking for CMWYS. But now I have it on my xanga so I can watch it whenever.
Anyways, keep writing great songs Evanescence. The Open Door is going to rock!!!!

CMWYS has officially the highest single day playcount of any song in my music library. You don't realize it, but thats really special

. Anyway, even if the new album is only half as good as Fallen (unlikely), that would still make it a 3x Platinum cd! But its going to be better...

so what is going to be the next official single. I had it on repeat last nite while searching ebay for more junk i dont need, and I am ofiicially sick of the song. I mean, its like MI to me. I listened to it enough, then learned how to play it on piano. Now I wanna hear everything else. Dont get me wrong, its a great genius song with a great "storyline" should i say, to it, but I just can't here one more "don't cry to me". I am psyched for another glimpse of the album, tho.

Well, dear, constantly playing the song over and over will do that to you. It's just like everything else - too much of something is not good. I've been listening to CMWYS (between radio and video) on an average of 3-4 times a day. Definitely not enough to get tired of it, but enough to satisfy my music needs.

I knew the lyrics by heart after the second day it was released.

In short - if you're tired of it, don't listen to it anymore. You have your right to your opinion, but I find it kinda disrespectful to come onto one of AMY'S threads (which she could very well be keeping up with), and pretty much diss her new song, just because you've overplayed it within a short period of time.

I find CMWYS different from everything else. The sound (its a heavy song, but I love it), and lyrics, which are blunt and straight forward - none of vague, or guessing stuff (not that I didn't like that either, Ames). Everyone wants all the new stuff, but guess what? You have to wait until October 3rd!

To answer your question, though - don't expect a new single until well after the album has been released. Maybe at the end of November / December area. I'm not even thinking about the second single because I'm too busy concentrating on the first.

Oh, and congrats, Ames. You've made it to the 50th page! Can you tell we love you? <3
