The story was alright, but sometimes it feels like it's just rushing through. For the most part it was just the three main characters, and to be honest, they can get on your nerves quite easily. And then those brief encounters with the rest of the characters to make you feel like they weren't forgotten. Did we really need to know more about Sirius if he was already dead? Some of the deaths seemed laughable at times, killing off an owl, wow that really changes the story
![]() The ending is good, but the Epilogue was one of the most frustrating things to read. Sure it was supposed to prevent the story from going on, but give the readers something better than that! |

But it was sad. I found all the deaths to be quite realistic, actually. I'm tired of people calling certain characters deaths pointless. Was she just supposed to have a war and then one dramatic death (Fred, I suppose) and everyone else live?

Hedwig dying was one of the most emotional* moments in the book for me! Hedwig was his only link to the magical world at the Dursley's. She was his friend. And she didn't have to die. Of course, I have a pet bird and I may be more susceptible to avian-death scenes. *in that I actually reacted to it. I don't really cry when reading books.

Nice, them links are quite a read!
Finished the book last night, took me just over a week because some chapters I just couldn't be bothered to read really, lol, like the one about Kreacher. But, overall I think it was a great read. The best book for me, def. There is one thing though, when I was reading this part I was trying to pay aw much attention as possible but it was past midnight and I missed it, but why didn't Harry die? When he let Voldermort use the Killing Curse? |
