I agree with pretty much everything Draconian Nymph said but even if you pretty much know the ending it's how you get there that makes it worth while. I can't wait for this book. I really need to reread them but I'm stuck on Eragon at the moment and another mystery novel too. ...grrr...

Bertie Botts beans are awesome. I remember the first time I had them. I ate an ear wax and it was horrid, haha.

Coupla things keep annoying me about this.

People keep talking about correlation between the new title and Godric's Hollow. The word in the new title is Hallow (with an A) not Hollow. As in "Hallowed be thy name". Meaning something which is sacred or revered.

The other thing is all the discussion about the word "death" in the title meaning Harry's gonna die. Sorry, I don't buy it. It's Deathly not Deadly. I don't think I've ever run across the word "deathly" before.

I think the word in the title is about the Death Eaters, not death in general (or Harry's specifically).

So, I think "Deathly Hallows" is about things that are sacred to the Death Eaters. Probably the horcruxes. (... or is that Horcri?)

I could go on and on about what I think's gonna happen in book 7 ...

i kinda figured harry and voldemrt would blow each other up at the same time without their wands doing the priori incantum thing, then things would follow up with ron and hermionies wedding and harrys funeral. buth thats just me. all we know for certain is that things will all come to a tidy and logical end with book 7, and there will be no sequels. and ms rowling did hint somewhere that harry wouldnt survive.

the three interesting things i want to see out of book 7: who is it that is already getting rid of the horcurxes before harry and dumbledore, which side was snape REALLY on, for sure??? ,and what happens to the death eaters in the end (and does snape get killed)

1. RAB. Regulus Acturus Black. It's just kind of accepted at this point, even if Jo refuses to confirm or deny it. Like she refused to say anything about the rumors that Dumbledore died.

2. I personally think he's on the good side, because Lily had compassion for him really. He COULD be on either side, but if I had to guess, my instincts tell me he's with Dumbledore. Besides, Dumbledore and Snape were arguing secretively about something in Book 6; there are theories that Dumbledore was telling Snape not to compromise his position in the Death Eaters no matter what. Dumbledore wouldn't beg for his life like that (before Snape kills him); it's against his nature. He was probably just acting.

3. It just feels like Snape should die, IMO. No particular evidence supporting that, but in this kind of series, it just seems like he will to me. As for the other Death Eaters - I can only assume that most of them will be caught by the Ministry of Magic, and others will escape and live out their days in exile. Just because that's a traditional sort of ending for a series about the traditional good vs. evil struggle. Either that or she pulls a Lord of the Rings where all of Mordor collapses and nearly every orc is slaughtered. :P

I work for one of the major bookstores in Aus,

When that book comes into the warehouse, I'm launching a ninja strike team to obtain it and run off madly, selling copies for $123123 on Ebay.

Oh yeah,

I really need to re-read OOTP and HBP because I cant really remember what happened, just the basic outline....I am excited about the new book! And, draconian, your theory is reallllyyyy convincing XD

Has anyone else here read that people think sirius and remus were a couple? Personally, I think it is a possibility. There is a lot of evidence around and I think they would have been cute together XD Does anyone else read fanfics about "unofficial couples" (ron/hermione, harry/draco, remus/sirius ect.)

Haha. I write fanfics like that, chii_chan. Draco/Harry, Hermione/Ginny, hehe.
Can't wait for this book.
