As part of my BND Multimedia course (in this case, Audio & Visual Production) we were given an assignment whereby we need to create a music video, for which piece is totally up to us. Being a huge EV fan the choice was obvious, and after careful consideration I settled on "Haunted" ("Even in Death" was a close second).
I have a basic storyboard created, involving scenes surrounding my local church and graveyard, a hill that oversees my town which includes a somewhat wooded area (all this at night), other scenes involving my Husky dog (looks like a wolf in certain lights), and basically our main character a girl in late teens/early twenties (will be looking to the drama department for actress)... also considering a male actor to play a shadowy figure we don't ever quite see in full. The beginning will start with a time lapse (sped up a lot) of the sun setting, and finish in reverse (a working idea).
I may be able to get my hands on a smoke machine for certain scenes, though I'm in the very early stages at this point, production won't begin for a while yet. This has to be completed by mid December.
Post production will include some wolf howling sounds... my dog howls but it's not quite like a wolf (if you've heard a husky howl you'll know what I'm talking about lol), so I need only take shots of him in a howling state and then overlay it with the audio. We'll be using iMovie for any post production special effects... ghost trails, transition effects etc.

The final work will be presented in a DVD case decorated with my own design (credit will be given to the one graphic I used from the EV site) which you can see below, should be final design. I've also got a CD labeller so once complete I'll post a screenie.


So basically I'm eager to hear what you'd like to see, or consider this were an official video for the song, what you expect to see in it. Be as specific as you like or just describe a basic theme you'd want/expect to see. I will of course post the final product, and if people are interested I'll try and keep updates on here like still photos and working ideas etc. I appreciate all ideas/opinions whether praising or critcal... but be gentle I've never done anything like this before lol.

Personally i like the idea of some haunted house from which is hard to escape.
hah. you know you say you've got some wolfs, so wolfs somehow in the house or around it. some hungry wolfs. in the dark with yellow eyes ( ) . could be cool. circulating around and in the house.
The house is ancient and forsaken. And its nothing but the night. The house is at the edge of deep wood. Wind is blowing through the trees. I dont know if there could be one or several monsters in da hause. Maybe only one.
Somewhere upstairs on the first floor. The king of the house. But it's/he's a shadow, some kind of. uvisible force. present in the house. The girl, in the white dress, comes across toward the house. There's some piece of the moon also. She opens the door and enter the house. And the shadow awakens..But.you say you've got a male actor too...

well, as i've got the idea, the male actor is also in the house. He's already in the house...and. thats it. i ran out of inspiration. but you've got some different ideas. As you say, pieces that could be there are some kind of house, night, moon, wolfs, female, male, monster and stuff. and then someone say 'cut'...and.antha girl awakens from. the dream. in the middle of the quite night.
