Hello everyone I'm Sara, or ByrdSar. I'm new here, so I don't know what the features are...but before I continue, I have a technical question...how do you get it so you get more than one PM message in your email box?

Ok, now that that's out of the way, I'll tell you a little bit about myself. First of all, I'm a self-proclaimed nerd who OBVIOUSLY loves Evanescence. I read, write poetry, play the flute occasionally, play on my computer, read, etc. I love Evanescene's music. It's great poetry for my soul. I have many other things to tell you all about myself but I don't want to bore you right now or have you think all I do is talk about myself so...

I believe that to have more than one PM in your box, you have to have a certain number of posts or been here for a certain number of days...I can't remember, the rules were a little different when I first joined.

HI Sara!! WELCOME TO EVBOARD!!!

Usually the way it works that I know of, you have to give and recieve
Pm's in your mail box to add more. (Hope that helps) If not, you can always
pm a moderator, they are the ones with their names in Red coloring
at the bottom of the main page.

You will get to know your way around, as soon as you get use to it a
bit more!

You will find everyone to be very sweet, and friendly, and also this board
to be very fun, and exciting!

I hope to see you around, and posting lots!

Welcome to EvBoard. I am Karen and I'll be your guild. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me. Please be sure to read the FAQ. Try Searching for topics before starting a new one. There is quite a history on evboard and it's really easy to overlook something. You will also notice little green or red dots under users names. Those are reputation points, you can read about them here. You may have also noticed that your posts don't show up right away. This is what is called a Moderation que. Basically the Moderators checks posts for new users for a bit just to makes sure that their posts are appropriate for the board. It kinda weeds out spammers and trouble makers. Any questions about signatures can be answered here and here. You can find out about avatars here. You can leave feedback in the noob feedback forum. And check out what it's like to be a noob. It's very informative.
If you have ANY questions at all, feel free to pm me and ask. If I don't know the answer, I can definatly find out what the answer is.

So welcome to the board, and join the party!

oh. and by the way. the pm thing. It's something that was set up to help us weed out spammers and such. I believe that once you get out of the mod que, you will be allowed to send/receive more than one pm at a time.
