I agree with everything that's been suggested so far, and I would go ahead and just get rid of the entire "Evanescence FAQ" section. The people who come to this board generally already know about Origin, why Ben left, etc. And anyone who's newly registered and DOESN'T know is probably...well, most likely they belong to EvThreads at heart. Just sayin.

I agree. this portion of the FAQ was written before most of the recent dramatic events regarding evanescence, and is pretty obsloete/incomplete, except the link to the evanescence reference, which is a much better source of all things ev related.

for the evanescnence Q&A, i woud simply leave the link to the reference and axe the rest.

the evnescence reference, as i understand it, is a wikki project started by Dhammaseeker, and is not directly connected to this or any other one board. since it 's a wikki, it's updates are dependant on the readers updating it themselves, plus a few l additions from time to time from the wikki site admin.

if you have seen thngs in the reference that are not up to date, the best course of action would be to edit the articles yourself, or bring it to dhammaseekers attention (i belive he is still running it....) though the links on the front page.

Ok....I've updated all mentioned suggestions thus far. If you guys think of more or new additions that should be added in please post about it and I'll get it added in first chance I get.

Make this part of the faqs, since this can apply in all types of threads (regarding posting over and over in 2 way conversations)

Angel....I've modified the "Content Standards" section of the general rules to include the link you mentioned. I've also removed the above dead links Scratchy.
