Alright ya'll

Here is your chance to help us update the EVboard FAQ pages. If you want to lend a hand please browse through the faq and find whats outdated and post about it here. Feel free to suggest changes you think would help make the site better. Feel free to even word how you think something should be reworded, if its well thought out and easy to understand we might use it.

*Already removed is the PS portion of the Frequently Asked Questions.

Okay, under general rules, "Public bashing of the administrator or moderators", there are two dead links, and one from ToB saying he'd ban anyone that annoys him. Under "Be Kind", only two of the five links work.

I don't think the evboard IRC channel still exists, does it?? "Where do I go if I want to chat" rule is kinda outdated then, because I guess we're relegated to flashchat.

Two dead links in the "Why are my posts not showing up right away?" section.

Dead link in the "How can I become a moderator?" section

"Who To Contact?" section lists ToB as the administrator.

"Wow! Do you guys really have members of the band posting here?" and "What usernames do the band members use?" can be eliminated since they dont really post here anymore, and that whole section has been eliminated.

OMG!!! This video should be highlighted for all noobs!!!! It is informational and funny!!!!! It's in the FAQs, but somehow deserves more prominence

EDIT: I'm sure that all the "elders" would agree that the list of contributors to the FAQ are an amazing bunch of folks, and its kinda sad to see all their names there and not have them active on the board anymore (well except for our very own Evanosaurus Rex

)

well what i thought off imediately due to recent changes to the n00bs...
is the changes and restrictions will need explaining including refreshing some of the older information. so the PM restrictions, waiting to use chat and who their new welcoming comitee members are, how to contact them etc etc etc

also a little speil on chat being a Privilege not a Right including some chat etiquette and guidlines such as do not go in with the intention to abuse and annoy other members currently in their chatting, it is rude and will not earn you any favour. wait your turn instead of jumping in and disrupting the conversation with small meaningless questions and asking why people are not talking to you, do you hate me sort of things. it is more likely the members are involved in a interesting converstation and once they are finished with their topic they will address/acknowledge/answer what you have said.

/end rant on chat

i liked the video and vote to keep it. is there anyway to ensure n00bs will watch it?

I capitalized it because you can't tell the difference between a g and a q when it's underlined in my firefox.

Yeah, the Origin part and the one about band members posting [although maybe keep that in case Johnny comes around again] could be removed.
