well ... long time i didn't write here because my English was so terrible .. but now i think its became better.

now what i need is that i have some Word Document about 6 or 7 pages ( i didn't finish it yet )

it was in Arabic and i translated to English ,,,,so i need someone to read it and find the mistakes and correct it for me.

i'll attach the file soon but i wanna know who can help ?

I fixed your document as best as I could. Whenever I was unsure about something, or suggested a correction for you to consider, I highlighted it in yellow, so you know what needs to be taken out.

I mostly corrected a lot of grammatical errors. You didn't have many spelling errors, and on the whole, it was easy to understand. You tend to use too many run-on sentences, so you'll notice that I broke up some of your sentences quite a bit. Sometimes if your sentences get too long, it becomes very difficult to understand the original meaning. It's hard to say too much in one sentence and still get the point across. Try to break your thoughts up more when you're writing. However, many of the corrections I made were purely grammatical: adding missing commas, rearranging setences, and adjusting your wording.

Also, I noticed you have a problem with the contraction "it's" and the possessive form "its". If you're not sure which of these two to use, try to subsititute the phrase "it is". If you can use "it is" fine without it sounding strange, then you can use the contraction "it's"... if it doesn't sound right when you put "it is" then you need to use the possessive form "its".

but i would like you to tell me generally about the translation .. is it good ? because it's my first time to translate 4 pages ... matter of fact it was 8 pages in Arabic

I graduated from college with a BA in English, so I know my way around editing.

Your translation was decent. Most of the stuff I corrected is highly technical; they're things I wouldn't expect someone that isn't a native speaker to know very well. I get the impression that you attempted to translate everything literally, and sometimes when you translate from one language into another, you need to adjust the wording in order for it to make sense.

Also, to let you know, when it came down to correcting your document, I used the version that your friend corrected for you, not the original version. The corrections your friend made were closer to being accurate, so I just went off of that document.
