Seriously all those tips are good, especially Tip #2 (since you may not notice the emoticon and it's commonly used)
I don't know why but I enjoy a healthy dose of sarcasm.

oh, and for edumacation purposes, one of the many people you should always read all the posts of is sheep. If I see he has posted, even in a thread I care less to read, I will read it. It's always entertainment, and sometimes he actually pretends to know something of knowledge. Probably mostly about the mating habits of 4 legged creatures, which is scary that he knows so much about that.
