Um, so Season Finale = Best.Ending.Ever.
But I am so damn sad that there wound up only being 16 episodes this season, instead of the typical 24, due to the Writer's Strike. Stupid strike. ![]() I'm glad that things wound up the way they did, because it made everything much more complicated. My mom was all, But why did that girl have to die? ![]() Anyway, the most memorable part of the episode for me was toward the end when House, for the first time EVER, admitted that he was miserable. Always, people have been trying to tell him he's depressed, while House denies that he's unhappy. That, to me, was very interesting. As a sidenote, I also found it quite cute that House really cares so much for Wilson as his friend. I can't wait until the next season. So far away... ::sniffle::

Just watched the season final.. I am touched.
Actually, I was kinda disappointed with the previos ep [House's Head] and didn't expect much from the last one [I actually had no idea it was the final when I started watching it], so I was surprised to see such a great episode. It's like the good ol' times, when you enjoy every second of the show. I never liked Amber, it's better to say I was indifferent to her character, but, after I watched this ep, things changed. Not because she was dying and I felt sorry for her, but because I really liked the moment at the bar. She showed up there to collect House in spite of the fact she didn't even like him, but she did it for Wilson [well, perhaps for House, too] and she was calm and patient, even though House was talking nonsense. Besides, she was awesome during the last hours of her life, when Wilson asked her why she wasn't angry and she told him that she didn't want it to be the last feeling she ever had.. So sad and beautiful. This actress did her job perfectly, I'm really impressed. I guess, things will be hard between House and Wilson in the next season, but still can't wait to see it. |

Season Four altogether has been very lack-luster, in my opinion. It was slow-going with the new team and I don't think there was enough time devoted to character development. I just don't seem to care about them as much as I was interested in the old team. Though these last four episodes, especially the last two, they really scrounged something worthy together. It's nice to see House get back in its groove... just too bad it didn't happen until the end of the season. :\

And I agree, that this season was not a success and there were many boring eps. The new team is alright (I really like Taub), but it can't be compared with the original team. Though, it's quite clear that they stress the new team, and the old one is still in the show for the sake of appearance, so to speak. I mean, their characters are still significant, but their lives and roles are not the main goal of the show anymore. I've even read a rumour that the writers are planning to get rid of Chase in the near future. Not sure if this is true, though. And I think that in the 4th season Wilson's character was represented more detailed than any other (except House's, of course). It was quite interesting to learn some new things about him and those eps were brilliant (my fave one is where House and Amber fix their own time to meet Wilson). |

But i think there is another reason for new team, maybe the actors were bored,or the writers all of them wanted to show something different, though i don't like the new team.

The problem is that the characters for the new team weren't developed enough and so they don't feel as natural and the viewers have a harder time connecting to them and caring about them in the way we did the old team. The writers just really slacked off in that regard.
