How to beat a dead horse (forum rules)

2. This is a debate and mature discussion forum. Please keep it so. If your post isn’t a debate or mature discussion topic, don’t post it here. Merely posting a link and asking other people discuss is not a valid debate topic. Completely Off Topic might be a better place.

3. Simply stating opinions is not debating. To post an opinion without reason does not contribute anything. Rarely when people argue their opinions do you come to an agreement, because "everyone is right and everyone is wrong". Please explain why you think the way you do.

4. Before you post in a thread, please read it fully. Please do not post unsubstantiated comments that drag the debate back to ground that has already been exhausted.

5. Absolutely no personal attacks! To resort to name calling insults all who post here and destroys all of your credibility.

6. The prior prohibition against discussing the existence (or lack thereof) of deity (i.e., discussion of religion) is hereby repealed. If you desire to engage in such a discussion, be warned that you will most likely be offended at some point. When this is the case, you can reply with your mature and thought-out response.

7. Learn when to stop talking. Say your piece and let it go. Never try to teach a pig a sing. It wastes your time and annoys the pig.
