Oooh ooohh I also want a thunderstorm so badly!! Every time it's been raining these past days it's been silent, awwww. I want loud window-shaking bangs and cracks of light in the sky! Just not in my yard because then I'd (be recommended to) stop using the computer.

As long as you have a GOOD surge protector hooked up to your system (meaning a Price Wheeler Brickwall, or something equivalent. I have one from Electronic Specialists: small, powerful, and completely silent.), you shouldn't have any worries.

I shall do a dance to the thunderstorm gods so that you can get a REALLY loud one to enjoy!!!

Um, I know. I live in Northeastern Ohio. Weather doesn't make sense here... it never makes sense. We have had days that have been sunny and warm, rainy and wet, and snowy and freezing, all in 24 hours. Recently, we've been going back and forth between nice Spring weather and snow/rain. It was supposed to rain yesterday, yet it was all bright and sunny and gorgeous. However, I've heard that they're calling for snow sometime later this week.

Nah, we've got a few 60-70 day highs coming up. It's the dead of winter, BUT WAIT! We've got a thunderstorm warning and a tornado watch...

Like you said... mixed bag. I think that when it comes to this part of the states, the weather god just has a wheel that he spins and whatever weather it lands on is what we get. It's just that random. -.- Sometimes it makes me go WTF, but I quite like the variety, it's interesting.

wow mixed bag weather for me to, we can have up to 5 different weather patterns in one day here if not more. throw in the occasional storm, dust storm and all day mist you have a pretty weird weather system.
as for thunder storm i lied we had one here reccently at 5-6.30 in the morning it woke me up as it crashed right outside my window making my window and stuff on my table rattle. that said i want a great lightening storm or a day of mist and rain so i can snuggle down with the heater on and that is bliss

Earlier I told Jul that I wish it would rain here, and she said she was sending me some, and right after she said that it started actually raining. 0_o Yay for awesome buddies!

*revels in the outdoor wetness*

Now I just need that thunderstorm...

I shall do my best river, but we all know just how f*cked the weatherpeople are. Wrong 85% of the time, so given that, we have a 15% chance of rain tomorrow for certain.
