Hello! *waves* I'm not exactly new here, but I thought I'd make another thread to introduce myself. I joined back in September, but with all the things that happened to EvBoard, I didn't really get a chance to browse the place or meet people.

So...I bought a $5 subscription just a few minutes ago to show my support and see what this board is really like!

(hey, it is all I can afford for now)

I hope I can make some friends here and meet interesting people. Some of you may know me from EvThreads. I'm really quite bitter about the whole Evanescence fiasco, and the unraveling of EvThreads. So I seek refuge here, and a new board to call home.

Hey, I did the same, got the five dollar sub on friday (all I could afford too) to see whats up here. It's not too busy so far, but I feel the same, I needed a refuge from the crap on Evthreads and people I could relate to (not thirteen-year-old-ZomgI<3tehAmyYurPurfectNyuOwnztehEv). The people here are mostly older fans and a bit more real (and a lot more cynical

).

Look around, there's a few cool threads that are somewhat current. Well your already in the survey here so you got that taken care of unless you want to update it. I'd start here.

Whee I don't feel quite so late to the party now, you joined September, I joined November, and I always felt so.. Out of place among those who've been here since January 2003. I was only 11 then.. Damn, long time ago. Aaaanyway welcome to EvBoard, I'm sure you'll enjoy it, yadayadayada, we're a better investment than a Big Mac at McDonald's apparently and you can't go wrong with that
