Inglorious Bastards [MOVIE] - EvBoard

So I was just surfing around on IMDB.com and came across this - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0361748/board/nest/10634066 - a new flick Quentin Tarantino is planning. What surprised me the most is what I read on another site, that Adam Sandler has apparently been cast for the movie. I don't know about anyone else, but if it's true I'm really interested to see how Sandler will do in a dramatic role. Could be interesting

Well he played a serious role in Punch Drunk Love I think, so we'll see.

But with Tarantino's mind, who knows how it'll work out. Never heard of this but I'll keep it in mind in the future. But anyways, Sandler is currently shooting a football movie (which also includes Nelly (the rapper), Stonecold Steve Austin, Goldberg, and a few other actors who are more known)..so I guess the filming will be next year for this movie. The setting and all is definitely...interesting tho. Reminds me of Hellboy's setting.

Yeh I forgot about Punchdrunk, but then I never was really interested in seeing that for some reason or another. When I think of war movies though, I of course think of stuff like Saving Private Ryan, Platoon, and so on. It's hard to imagine Sandler in a role like that, but at the same time I'm intrigued. But yeh it's early yet and there's no telling with Tarantino at the helm, just what kind of war movie it could end up being. I'm looking forward to whatever becomes of it though =]

It'll be interesting, that's for sure. I'm thinking that Tarantino has something very outside the box in the world of drama planned for Sandler. I definitely would like to hear more.

Sandler is quite possibly the LAST person I would've expected to be in a Tarentino film. lol. I was just watching Pulp Fiction today, and could you imagine Sandler playing Travolta's character? I don't know. But, I think it will rock.

This football movie sounds hot though.

lol. Actually I could. Well at least the part where Travolta dances with Uma in that restaurant. Except he would have had to break into song or something :P

Oh I can't wait for this film.

Apparantly Tarantino might cast, Travolta and Michael Madsen in this film as well....
