Okay...here are my thoughts.

EvBoard has turned into a limited community. There isn't a lot of activity since the fallout last year. Anyhow, many people don't realize that the board is under new management. So I thought maybe a click-able banner in our signatures, just to generate curiosity about evboard once again. These banners we can post in our sigs on EvBoard, EvThreads, EvClub, Myspace and anywhere else where you see fit.

Things that I would like to see incorporated in the banner.

1. EvBoard logo-past or present or create a new one. Or just EvBoard name
2. Evanescence picture or logo
3. something advertising the new evboard. Be creative. I know you can be.

as far as colors- anything goes
as far as size.... just keep it basic banner size. 468 x 200 pixels. I can resize them for other boards if needed.

I will give 50,000 points for first place, 20,000 points for second place and 10,000 points for third place.

so lets get to work and try to bring back EvBoard.

I will give the creation of the banners from now until the 15th of December.
Voting will go through the 16th of December until the 22nd of December.

Don't post your entries in here. Submit them to me via private msg or e-mail. wldangel@pld.com. If I don't respoind to you about your entry within 24 hours, msg me just to make sure I received it. My email is a bit goofy at times.

edit: a question was asked on how many enteries you can submit. As many as you wish, but you can only win once. That way it stays fair.

i agree it seems like a great idea. we need more people here not saying the ones we have that just continue to hang around aren't fun

You can submit more than one, but you can only win once. That way everyone gets a fair chane.
so in the voting- say you get the top two. you'd get first, and the runner up would get second instead of you. Make sense? I just wanna keep it fair for everyone. Considering there's a lot of things you can do with theses points.

If extensions are needed due to unknown circumstances, we can extend the contest.
now if you're just being lazy and such, that's not a reason for an extension.
