It must be hard being an Evanescence fan....
it's been 2 years since the last album (smh @ them choosing Good Enough over All That I'm Living For as a single) no new songs have been released since then, we don't even know who's in the band any more.
with no news on the band in months, how are yall coping with yet another prolonged hiatus? me I just started listening to the demos again for the first time this year, plus it's a few good rap albums out now thoughts? |

And yeah, I still listen to Ev all the time. On my way into work this morning, as a matter of fact, BMTL came on the radio and I rocked that bitch out. |

There is other music out there that you can listen to as well, you know. Ev isn't the only band in the world. =/

I am happy to listen to Many different songs of theirs.
I mean common, they were on an almost two year tour.....they do deserve a break. I mean, I know for me it would be pretty Effing hard to be away from my family and friends for so long. People don't see behind the scence of it all, they only see the glamor side, and think all it is, is a bunch of partying, and fun....well I can tell everyone, thats the farthest from the truth. As for Amy, she is one of the few people I have ever seen, who actually takes that much pride, and puts in that much love, and her whole heart, into every each song she sings. You ever stop and think, just how much shit these artists have to take on a daily basis, I think people would be surprised. It pays off, to take production in my last years of school, because I leaned all of what go's on, and its not very pretty. I am not worried about who will be in the band, because Amy will make sure everything works out....I mean common, she's the one that busted her ass to save the OPEN DOOR tour, and that says ALot!! She deserves a hell of alot more credit then what people are giving her. Amy Lee Hartzler....FTFW!!!! ![]() That is all.

I still listen to Evanescence, but now I'm more focused on more black metal and doom metal. And I've discovered alot of bands out there that are just as good (but they sound NOTHING alike)

Of course there's other music out there. My other favorite band just released a new album so I'm eating that up, haha. And their break from the scene was longer than Evanescence's - Evanescence hasn't released anything in less than two years, but Staind didn't release anything in three years. Ev will come back - for now, I just listen to the older stuff. I've been listening to the "Fallen" era stuff a lot lately. Maybe it just fits me better right now.
Oh well, I think I strayed off topic. Anyway, like I said in my other post, it takes patience, but there's more to music than just Evanescence. ![]()
