This affected me big time...once having been a "victim" (yeah, ugh, I hate that word to death), anything on this subject really gets to me. But I like it a lot...I can really relate to the anger beneath it.

I loved this one...especially the last two lines.

This one had amazing imagery...the descriptions are wonderful, and, again, it's another I can relate to.

That one sounds so sorrowful...the poem is beautiful in itself, and sad how I get the feel of knowing something bad is happening, but accepting it just the same.

It's really cool how you used such detached imagery in your first few posts. I haven't been able to do that in a long time.

I've really enjoyed reading your work. "Light," is one of the best things that I've read since I've been here. The echo effect that you use is really effective. And the content is great.

"Beautiful Nothing," really affected me . . .

I have a few friends that refuse to get out of abusive relationships, and it makes me think about them. Also, I was abused as a child. Which isn't really something that has to do with it, but it gives me the same feeling. So it hit pretty hard. It's a great piece.

We've got a few of the same titles too, I saw. Go Away, and Vision. But they're about completely different things.

There's too much good stuff here to comment on it all. But I'm glad that I read your stuff. I'll definitely be reading in the future . . .

OMG! *dies* I have never gotten goose bumps like that before in a long time! THat was absolutely amazing! I just couldn't stop reading! One after the other, they were all fantastic! Thank you for sharing all of that with us, it was amazing! Keep up the amazing work hun. I MISSED YOU!

I've been really lazy about posting lately. And I haven't written much, but I did re-write an older poem.

If you could see, I'd show you my view
Of the skies and all of the sea
Of the birds and the many flowers
Of the glistening waters and pure clouds
Of the sounds and the melodies
If you could hear, I'd tell you stories
Of the earth and the human race
Of the beauty inside of all of us
Of the burning flames that never extinguish
Of the glorious things that exist within
If you could feel emotion, I'd give you a taste
Of anger, the fury of mankind
Of love, what makes life worthwhile
Of hate, what fuels the fire
Of sorrow, tears of those who suffer
