I haven't updated this in a long time. Sooo, here we go. I'm not happy with the titles, and I'm not entirely happy with most of the wording, but I am proud I got the words out of my head.

Illusion

You can't hide inside your shell forever
So long, goodnight to the world you knew
The truth is you're ashamed
And you're running out of people to blame
Close your eyes, brace yourself for the truth
Hold your tongue, breathe in what's real
We are not blind to the illusion
No one is angry, and you are not fully vindicated

I'm sorry if you take offense, I see your reality
You're hiding in fantasy, you're blind
How could I have been so patient, so stupid?
To simply let you lie and make me into a fool?

Watch the moment, spread your wings

There is no urge, there's only time

Piercing Eyes

I can feel your eyes, piercing eyes
Crawling over and around me
You stare at the beautiful nothing
In front of you among the somethings

I know you see that I'm ashamed

I can't figure out what you want from me
But I can feel your eyes crawling over me

I feel my pride crawling from my fingertips
Like a blade, and soon it slips
I'm on my knees like a slave
And I see nothing but your eyes
